Yesterday I updated nostrcheck.me to adapt it to the latest modifications incorporated in NIP96 (by the way, by general consensus 🤓). Among other things, it is now possible to list the files of a pubkey on any NIP96 server, allowing to manage on any NIP96 compatible client all the files uploaded to any server (move, delete, disable, zaps?, etc.). This reinforces the sovereign management of the data without depending on any specific server. By the way, this was always my goal. All nostrcheck-server instances will receive the changes incorporated in the next version 0.6.0 to be released in a few weeks Have a good day #nostr 😀

Hello @hzrd149 . I am looking at blossom's spec. I have a few questions that I can't make sense of. 1- Why doesn't blossom use NIP98 as an authorization event? 2 - Why does it use its own event with kind 24242 that is not in the standard? 3- Why a whole new protocol if it could have been integrated, for example, in NDK + nostr-tools + NIP96? Does it make sense to go against all the work done these years? I would like to have a productive conversation, as I am evaluating the possible implementation of blossom for the new version of nostrcheck-server. Starting from NIP96, the modifications to be made in the source code are minimal, apart from the authorization event that does change completely.

Good morning #nostr Yesterday I tested my own instance of nostrcheck-server by upgrading it to the 0.6.0 (alpha) version. This version consolidates lots of features that were introduced with 0.5.0. A tiny, tiny preview:

It has been a hard afternoon 😅 , but everything is migrated, out of almost 100.000 files 30 have failed and I will check them tomorrow. Those "minutes" have been a few hours. Sorry about that 🙏🙏 Everything is working again, if someone still can't see an uploaded file, he/she should clear the browser cache and everything will be back to normal!! 😊🥳🥳

Hello #nostr. If you see a "Not found media file" warning in your nostrcheck-me uploads, don't panic, files are being migrated. In a few minutes ( it will be available again automatically (Working on new version!!) 🙂

nostrcheck-me is migrating some folder structure to a new version. During the next hours some files may show the “not found” image, don't worry, everything is still in the same place 🙂 In a few hours everything will be back to normal!
