Zuckerberg just announced Facebook is going to help with free-speech and anti-censorship (following X/twitter lead) While I applaud the attempt I am not counting on big-tech to get closer to a solution. Here is what Facebook said they are going to do: 1) Replace fact-checkers by community notes 2) Relax content policies (immigration/gender) 3) Focus filters on illegal/high severity and dial back other content filters 4) Bring back civic content 5) Move trust/safety teams to Texas (vs SFO) 6) Protect free speech worldwide. Not sure what this means?

Unpopular opinion: I think social app #primal #damus should not show free ❤️/like actions. Sharing or Zapping. That's enough signal to indicate if you like something

and faced some challenges along the way. Despite that, i learned a lot a long the way. Still confused on where/how to best set the list of relays? The `naddr` #NIP-19 in the gitstr repo is telling me to send patches to wss://nostr.fmt.wiz.biz but that failed. After adding the primal relay it took my PATCH. Is there any way to set a list of relays to send patches to?

I learn the most by reading and playing with code. So after reading NIP01 i wanted to play with the tests @fiatjaf wrote in the nostr-tools (TS) repo. Ported some tests to Bun (v2) and saw a 2x speed in signing/verifying events (obviously all related to runtime improvements) (screenshot below) No plans to continue writing these tests. What's the point of optimising a test suite that takes 7 seconds to run 280 tests outside of `deno fmt` (which is awesome). But i do wonder if the current relay implementations in Typescript (nostream, nostr-relay-nestjs) will have to deal with performance as Nostr gets more popular.

@primal not sure if this is a feature or a bug but i was told my avatar is a 12 megapixel image. Just swapped it to a lighter image, but you might want to check/validate/resize avatars to save you some bandwidth?
