Good night nostr, i've had a good and busy day. Now its time for some rest, except i need to make some brownies for a potluck tomorrow. It'll be good to catch up with some friends. All the critters are feeling stressed with the summer heat, but that cant be helped. All we can do is make sure they have plenty of shade and water. Anyway, yall have a good evening friends. Today's lunch is simple and quick, as i didnt have much time to cook. Eggs with leftover roast beef mixed in, along with fresh garlic, then topped with cheese. And a side of some yummy saurkraut. Sometimes these simple meals are what i crave. #foodstr

Good morning nostr, i'm gonna take my morning walk early cuz its gonna be nearly 100 degrees later. I have lots of watering to do, since i've planted lots of new trees in the last few years. But as they mature i should have to water them alot less. Is it just me, or does it seem like the heat feels more intense than in years past, even though we've had higher temps before. Hey nostr, its been a super busy day, but its time to call it done. I ordered some buckwheat seeds to spread in some areas where i dont have enough mulch. I'm hoping to use the buckwheat as a temporary cover crop to prevent weeds and also add organic matter. Anyway, yall have a good evening friends. #homesteading

My niece called me last night, to ask what i thought about buying beef in bulk, from local ranchers. She said she's been hearing alot about fake meat in stores. Of course i gave her some places to check out and said that's the most economical way to buy beef. Made me happy for her and her family. Good night nostr, went to help my friend again with her btc stuff. I went last week, but turns out her Coldcard died, so we couldnt proceed till she got a new one. It kinda freaked me out when i saw her old coldcard screen, it said "bricked", and i thought someone had tampered with it. But no, it just malfunctioned. Anyway, we got her squared away now.
