Good morning nostr, its a great day for a fresh start and a clean to-do list. This morning i have watering to do, plus tending to the chickens, which really dont require alot of work. After lunch a friend is coming over, and she'll be borrowing my jig for making metal washers. I'll give her a few metal plates too, in case she decides to use plates instead, since i have some extras right now. #zapcooking I had this issue before, and after i mentioned it, you fixed it for me. But now its happening again. Basically, when i click button to add a post, i'm presented with a prior post i made, so i cant post anything. When i click to go back out, it says "draft saved" even though i didnt save anything. My kidneywood trees are blooming, and the fragrance of the blooms is amazing! So sweet a smell, and of course the bees go nuts over them. I can smell them in a breeze from a long distance. I never water them, they survive our heat and drought without any care. #kidneywood #permies

In recent years we've had mostly mild winters, with a couple of hard freezes that makes everyone worry about freezing pipes. 8F is the coldest i've seen at our place so far, but typically its not that cold. Good morning nostr, and happy friday. Today i might make a couple of freezer meals, maybe meatloaf. Sometimes i like to be able to grab something pre-made out of the freezer when i'm super busy. Might make a pot of beans too, they freeze well. If it ever cools off i'll be making different stews for lunch, then we can freeze the leftovers. Also need to continue working on my metal backups today, plus i re-installed linux mint on my main laptop, so now i have to get it all set up again. I also decided to backup my laptop and reinstall Mint. It seemed to be getting a bit sluggish and heavy, so i think its good to clean up every now and then. Good night nostr, today i tried loading a cd into my laptop (linux mint LMDE), but cant get it to open. It opens fine on my other laptop ( regular Mint). There's always something that wont work, nothing ever goes smoothly for me. On another note, i finished cleaning the chicken coop, did some watering, and cleaned house. At least 2, maybe 3 of my youngest hens are laying eggs now, so i'm happy about that. When they all start laying, we'll have lots of eggs to spare.
