Lunch time! Today i wanted to try something a little different. I mixed salmon with mackerel, added homemade mayo and seasonings, plus cilantro. Then we topped the tacos with brocolli sprouts and avocado, with a side of boiled eggs. Its actually very tasty😋. #foodstr #homesteading

We'll only be gone for one night, but when you have animals you need to be sure they have extra food/water, etc. My husband has a relative that is not in good health, so we decided to go visit her before she declines even more. Good morning nostr, its another monday that should be full of activities. The next couple weeks i have a busy volunteer schedule, mostly stuff at church, and some at the resale shop. And of course i always have projects around here. It has warmed up now, and lots of things need attention. Volunteering is one of the most satisfying and fulfilling things a human can do, imo. Giving of your time without expectation of monetary payment gives me satisfaction and payment in spades. I am compensated in good vibes, new friends, and good karma. Hi nostr, i came inside early cuz i got pretty tired, digging up and transplanting trees. It was a great day, busy and productive. I am so pleased with the current egg production of my hens now, and already planning on when to get new chicks started. I love being able to gift fresh eggs to folks. Hey nostr, its been a gorgeous day weatherwise, and of course i spent lots of time in the sun. We ended the day with a Gator ride around the property. Lucy likes to run ahead, and Daisy sits on my lap cuz she's older now. Oh, and i'm experimenting with Zorin OS on a spare laptop, just to see what its like. I've been using Mint for a long time, and been happy with it. But sometimes i like to check out other distros. First impressions are good.
