Good morning nostr, we woke up to the sound of light rain on the roof, and hopefully it continues. We need rain desperately. Last night i slept so well, i guess because i was tired from driving back home. So this morning i'll be catching up on things around the house, then i'm gonna go volunteer at the church kitchen this afternoon. It'll be a busy day, but i'm just happy to sleep in my own bed again. Hey nostr, its sooo good to be back home. Our visit with family in Dallas was ok, just lots of traffic and noise. We missed our critters, but thankfully everyone was ok when we got back. We'll only be gone one night, but i already miss all our critters. And i'll miss hanging out in my yard, enjoying the sunshine, even for a day. Lunch time! Today i wanted to try something a little different. I mixed salmon with mackerel, added homemade mayo and seasonings, plus cilantro. Then we topped the tacos with brocolli sprouts and avocado, with a side of boiled eggs. Its actually very tasty😋. #foodstr #homesteading
