I officially decommissioned some apps of mine from their respected servers and they are no longer on the web…. Zaprank, Abbey, and Y’all.

After some consideration, I am going to take Zaprank down, it was a fun little experiment making a Nostr app with Rails, but in all reality it doesn't serve much of a purpose nor does it get the traffic making the resources it uses worth it.
The relay.pleb.one admin area was having login issues, they are remedied for those who want to go tinker there.
My fitness app has been coming along well, not sure if I will ever release it for public consumption, more of a personal tool to fit my needs. At the same time, its not fun, to not share.
I enjoyed this one quite a bit, Watched: F1 🍿

I think I may start building apps around syncthing, its the best way to sync without haveing a server. I love the idea of having to not rely on cloud infrastructure.
Syncthing may be one of the most wonderful technical creations ever.

my mind is out of control today, now I’m pondering a combination Android podcast app with a companion Linux cli app that sync everything via a shared Syncthing folder…. like I have the time..lol

Since I decided to go against the DayOne subscription I am going to go back to using jrnl for my electronic journaling. Of course this brings complication to mobile. But I think I’m going with Syncthing and I will write an Android app that posts similar to the native jrnl app.

So, my Fastmail cli client seems to work ok for me. Its at a point people should play with it an give feature requests because I’m running out of ideas. I have packages for deb, rpm, and arch distros. #linux

I almost subscribed to DayOne, I really liked it’s integration with MicroBlog. But I pay for so many services already, when will it stop?

Been making various cli apps this week, I almost have my Fastmail app ready for release. It does most of the basics all on the command line, building Linux packages for it now.
I’ve been using copilot in VScode mainly. Today I am toying with using it in the terminal instead. Not a big difference really beyond using way less resources.
Back to the full on cli MicroBlog client, it would be terminal dependent if I wanted it to render images and video.. people would have to run certain terminals.
After my last post using mb-cli, I am wondering if I should have it make me proof read before it sends.. or make it an option to turn on forced proof reading. Typos kill me.
