At one point sometime ago I promised a native desktop #Nostr client for #Windows. I was doing some minor gaming and since I had Windows going, I may as well get a start on it.
I was thinking of life in the third-world and wondering how it would affect software choices. The first thing that came to mind is local/offline first is the key to everything. If it needs a connection or the cloud, its sort of worthless.

So, I used Omarchy for a couple weeks and Cosmic Desktop for a couple weeks. I’m Torn to which I should make my permeant home. Omarchy is definitely way more exciting and customized, but Cosmic seems a bit stabler. Maybe, I have to do Omarchy one more time, to see.
I’ve been taking taekwondo with my kids, but I really want to get back to JiuJitsu, I am considering just doing both.

I’m working on the command line version of my webapp NostrFeedz. I’m working on how to deal with images. In the right terminal (kitty, alacritty, ghostty) they come inline. But in others, do I have it so they open in browser, image viewer, maybe a hover to image viewer? #dev #terminal https://nostrfeedz.com

Going to make a cheatsheet applet for the Cosmic Desktop today, I can never remember kb shortcuts for half the things I use, so maybe it will help.
I’ve decided my brain cannot contain emacs and vim commands at once, so sticking with Vim
I always switch back and forth from the digital and analog tasks, journal, notes life. I love being on paper, but carrying something to write with 24x7 is hard. I’ve tried hybrid, but in all reality digital thoughts never make it back to the paper.
