I always switch back and forth from the digital and analog tasks, journal, notes life. I love being on paper, but carrying something to write with 24x7 is hard. I’ve tried hybrid, but in all reality digital thoughts never make it back to the paper.

Today I will try emacs.
I sometimes wonder how Gnome has become the defacto desktop for most of #Linux. It does look beautiful, that I cannot deny; but it’s lack of functionality, over simplification of apps, and lack of customization really make it sort of inferior to most other desktops.

I was playing with Pop-OS! today and it gave me a chance to test Autonomix-cli with a Debian based distro, worked like a charm.
I’ve gotten pretty used to using copilot outside of VSCode, just in the terminal. It’s improved productivity quite a bit. In VSCode remote connections broke often. I standard ssh terminal sessions stay solid all day if it must.
it feels good when 4 of the apps I sideload with Obtanium are my own. 

There is a good chance relay.pleb.one will be broken for a chunk of the day. I am working on fixing some persistent issues I have been having with it. I’ll let folks know when it’s fixed.

First version of my command line tool to post to MicroBlog and X is complete. Did it in Ruby and seems to work well.
It is a helpless feeling when your 9yr old gets in the car after school crying because kids are talking behind their back.

My Nostr relay I built is having constant login problems… it is really driving me crazy. I am half tempted to scrap it and do a rewrite.
I am on a Ruby kick now… I always return to Ruby.
