If you want to become a marathoner, pick a day on the weekend. Designate it as a long run day. It doesn't matter how crappy your run is. Complete your long run and stay consistent.
Consistency in my long runs has been key to completing a marathon. I may be slow now but I used to be slower last year. I will be faster next year. It only goes up from here. I will be a pro in 10 years. 52 long runs in one year. One mile is better than 0 miles. Walking is better than sitting. I will try posting only my long runs since it takes the most effort.
Today, I ran 7 miles.
I am used to13 miles on long runs but with this Florida heat, I didn't. I also don't have any routes in Orlando. It was fun. My running adventure today brought me to an interesting bridge. I really like running bridges.
