So, Chinese New Year and Carnival being celebrated at the same time is coincidental? Nothing is coincidental. What do they know that we don't. Both cultures are going all out to celebrate. Week 36 completed, This week God blessed me with good weather in NYC. It was 45. It was beautiful. I managed to complete a 15 mile run. We set the base only building from it. It's a great day to be alive! I saw the most spectacular sunset next to the Statue of Liberty. The ice has started to melt.

My toddler has read 30 books this year. This is her next 15 books for the next week. She picked all of these books to read, 5 in Spanish, 2 Valentine's Day books, 2 Chinese New Year books. The other 6 were random finds she wanted to check out for the next 5 days. Why buy books when you can just borrow them for a week or two? She's got a whole library to read and various libraries. Books are abundant. The best habit she will have will be to be a curious reader.

We have some weird weather today, instead of getting warmer, it's only getting colder by the hour. And tomorrow, will be much colder than today. I was beginning to drive to the train station but I kept getting resistance. So no, NYC today. It's too dark to run outside. I am waiting for the break of dawn. Tomorrow's weather is bound to be colder. This is the warmest it will be. It's now or never. The weather keeps challenging me and humbling me. I'd take 20's weather than anything in the10's.
