The problem with fiat money is not that we have billionaires (or soon to be trillionaires) - it’s the fact that the system prioritizes those who have hoarded the most for personal gain. It then lets those egotistical “entrepreneurs” have access to more capital and grants them virtually any request - all under the name of capitalism, and despite the fact that this is not a free market. Worldcoin is the prime example. It’s the most dystopia idea ever conceived, the worst form of digital fiat money possible. I cannot name a more totalitarian form of “money”. I cannot think of a worse outcome for the economy or personal sovereignty. It’s an absolute abomination and disconnect from reality at every level. It will fail miserably and IS already failing miserably, despite mass marketing budgets. But the real problem is this - not one single person told Sam Altman how fucking stupid the idea was. Thousands of employees and friends just let this idea grow into a real life protocol that would in theory destroy civilization (if successful) That is how fiat destroys society. It grants more resources and influence based off of “success”, when the reality is that is it not a meritocracy. It’s a debt Ponzi scheme that gives power to those who are closest to the printer or technology. It gives more money to those who can borrow and influence the most people regardless of the outcomes. Anyway, shitcoins always fail! Also might be a good time to start shorting this nightmare 👽
