Buddhism is a wonderful philosophy but it is deeply flawed. Today, it costs thousands to go on “retreats” where they teach fairytales and rely on a central authority for wisdom. Those who profess to follow the buddhas teaching lead others astray for fiat money. It has become a corrupted religion. Spiritual materialism to the core. The reason is simple. The Buddhas teaching that craving is the root of all suffering is false. It was always false because the Buddha was in ignorance when he was “enlightened”. The main cause was hidden from his view throughout his life. The cause of all collective suffering (referred to as “dukkha” or dissatisfaction) is fiat money. Craving cannot be the root - it is a downstream effect. To say other wise breeds ascetic practice. To ignore this truth breeds hedonism. The middle path is renunciation of the very system which enslaves humanity. This is the true middle path. Most immediately reject this principle, due to the fact that we are entrained in a deeply religious system of control from birth. To reject the main source of connection across all faiths and belief systems first appears to be insane and uncomfortable. These are they who do not understand the meaning of fiat - or how the system works. Fiat has always been the base layer of society since the dawn of civilization. It means in Latin - “let it be done”. It is authoritarian decree of value. Although it has transformed in form and definition throughout the ages, we have always had a central authority which determined and organized the medium of exchange. This allowed for centralization and corruption of the base layer. It breeds ego, self and identity. It encourages attachment to these identities and methods of earning fiat as a defense mechanism. It served us well for ages but centralization always corrupts. This is human nature. Satoshi knew this and his code was the antidote. He is the Buddha of the modern age. There is no longer need for fiat money. They may instill fear and doubt. Threaten you with violence or even temporarily devalue sound money, yet there is nothing they can do to stop it. We have already won. If you reject fiat - YOU ARE FREE. It is the collective nirvana and the middle path. #zenstr
