Nothing really sets you up for a day of guilt & struggle like having to peel your child off of you in tears as he clings to his stomach from anxiety begging to stay with you, like he does every single morning. Like it can’t just be a simple routine drop off, there has to be neurodivergence & drama built into every moment just to do the daily task of getting to school so I can literally get ANYTHING done.

Some intense effort went into this mission

I woke up this morning to see I was trying to message the @Soapbox group chat anywhere between 2:16-4am right after i found a very restless sleep because my boss/benevolent overlord, got me too excited & full of ideas past 9pm (@MK Fain your fault). So apparently my brain also, disagrees with my attempt to get healthy sleep. So much so, it tries to contact others to chat when the body is out of order. View quoted note →

There’s a Sauron Lego set. Wow. I want it so unbelievably bad. I took my son earlier to shop for a reward for filling his good deed chart up & I’ve been thinking about this Sauron set since we left, 6.5 hours ago.
