Today, I leave "My Second Home" hotel in Kathmandu with a package they sold me to Chitun National Park for three days. From there I will go back to India and then onward to Thailand. I'm starting not to be ill, which feels pretty good.

Eeek. Went to a pharmacy for cold medicine. He gave me two courses of antibiotics. I trusted it was cold medicine. Began having allergic reaction (I thought cold was worse). Dig in with Claude. Stopped. Slept 15 hours. Foreign perils.

I’ll fly from Ladakh to Delhi then to Kathmandu today. Running a big fever. Claude thinks it’s dengue fever. No choice but to travel. I’m not some rich guy and flights are paid. Being sick when traveling is my least favorite thing.
Leh is where the Dalai Lama spends the summer he is here now. It is also an old school hippie backpacker spot. Most businesses designed for this. Seeker s yes and yoga and trek and meditation. Light on party which suits me. 11500 feet.
So far, India has been Delhi only (with a day tour to Agra) and I have barely scratched the surface of this city in two weeks. Tomorrow I go to Leh. Literally getting high - in the Himalaya. I won’t miss the heat of humid Delhi in July.
The body is so amazing if we listen. I got hit by Delhi belly again and my body said “eat boiled eggs w salt and cumin” I did then researched. Cumin antimicrobial.Salt is needed for electrolyte replacement.Boiled eggs slow down bowels
The Taj Mahal really blew my mind. Not because of the woman screaming in this picture but the sheer beauty of it. i wish I could have sat there and meditated for a while. I hired a tour & guide too eager w dates and numbers and schedule
I’m built like a lot of Indian men. Not too tall. Hairy. A belly and somewhat round face. Poor guys. The thing is, Indians aren’t a slender people at least in Delhi. The women tend toward full figure. I should watch what I eat. Fatty foods.

Trapped talking to a beautiful Nepali woman in the plane for 8 hours since screens were broken. Arrived in India, paid a tout too much for a ride to my hotel but glad to escape the airport. First meal omfg good. Met so many nice people. Wow
Spent the day making sure the house is set up for another extended period of being away. No guarantee that I get back before winter (I plan on it) but have to set the house up for freezing anyway. I really do need a real visa, for now ok.
The Hearthsurf functions on Xcrol are really robust now. I know that this is essentially a site that only I use but I have hope that at some point people might actually recognize what it really is and start to use it. Otaru festival season.
My timing this time around at Satoshi Manor was good. Before the bugs really go crazy but for some spring, summer, and a bit of winter in June. Gardens in, enjoying the weather, decent amount done at BaoHouse, a little chill and friend time
