CD yesterday
My new friend joked that I used up all my social tokens. I totally feel that. No energy for big groups right now. Pretty deeply inner focused. New stage in life. Entering the late summer harvest period. Third season. Long way to go

Chiang Mai seems a great place to play but every time I am here I get so incredibly focused in my work. I love this. I get focused on health and work even though there are unlimited opportunities to play. That’s something special

I know it’s hard to believe but I made this without A.I.

Tasha is such a major trip. Despite being exposed to it early on, it was only through Ladakh and Nepal that it started to become clear. Such a powerful tool set. I’m so grateful to all the Tibetan/Ladakhi/ Nepalpeople who helped me see this

Another running group meetup yesterday. It was good. The problem is that this travelers guy is really making it difficult to enjoy this time here. I made a clinic appointment tomorrow. Hopefully can fix it. Definitely parasites.

5k morning run with a friendly group in Chiang Mai. I was slow but no one cared. Felt good. So many familiar and friendly faces here. Love it. I probably should have been running more over these past months but in India and Nepal, didn’t

A really lovely time on a Bangkok dinner cruise last night. It rained heavily and later ended up with extreme thaiarhea. That didn’t change the enjoyment factor of the cruise and company though. I should have stuck to vegetarian. No buffet

I immersed myself in Bangkok shopping malls yesterday. It’s an absolutely insane sub-world. I don’t really understand luxury brands and shops. I don’t really understand why people pay those prices. Plenty of crazy rich Asians in Bangkok

I love having friends in different cities I visit. Last night met with my Bangladeshi friend in Bangkok. We had dinner and drinks, got massages, and then live music and more drinks. She’s one of those friends that I feel I’ve known forever

Being back inn Bangkok feels so good. I am so glad to not be in India. 🇮🇳 has its charms and I look forward to going back- later. Not anytime too soon.

I went to Gandhi's martyrdom spot yesterday. A great museum. Free. Beware fake guides. Had a security guard following me so close I could feel his breath. I felt pushed out by that which was sad. Learned a lot I didn't know. Complex man.

The past two days, I've spent the majority of my time in my palatial hotel room. IHG is such a great brand and using my award points has genuinely brought me joy again and again. This time, I just needed the recovery time. Feeling much +++

Two things: Remember 2015-6 when products were cheap and getting cheaper? Peace was rampant. Wrong turn 100%. Second thing - a well run hotel is a thing of utter beauty. It can change things from bad to good. 5 stars worth it in 3rd world.

A badly operated hotel is something that digs under my skin like almost nothing else. Especially when the bones are good. How hard it’s it to attach the toilet seat? Holes in the screens that let mosquitos in? Wall blotches left there.

Today, I leave "My Second Home" hotel in Kathmandu with a package they sold me to Chitun National Park for three days. From there I will go back to India and then onward to Thailand. I'm starting not to be ill, which feels pretty good.
