Plebs wanted to make a dent in the adoption rate. So a flyer was printed a couple thousand times to be added to our orders, or to be ordered at our webshop for a symbolic amount. “How to accept bitcoin in 3 minutes” is a short explainer with a link to @Wallet of Satoshi. We understand this is custodial. Please let lightningplaces know when there is something stable, easy and in dutch thats cheaper and self custodial lightning. They have put in the effort and proof of work to create these flyers and to make sure people have an easy first touch point with bitcoin. The tombstone post on Twitter by @Lyn Alden made me think of the longevity of a post on that platform. If sufficient relays survive, an inscription on decentralized Nostr might actually have a higher survival chance than a centralized Twitter post. So here’s my take: “I don’t want a tombstone, I want them to fire it up and use the heat I emit for the last hash. Stack the sats and throw an op_return in the timechain with “Bert” nothing more, because that would cost a fortune when I die. Rather future generations stay humble and stack sats instead of getting an expensive tomb stone with a maintenance fee that they have to pay to the church.”

Explaining the silent bitcoin heater rack that was heating the conference in Amsterdam to someone who was actually interested in the details. Fun part was, he turned out to be very excited about the Jade update which enables jades to save the multisig quorum on the device. We’ve been reselling quite a few already and I couldn’t agree more. GM! PV! We have been heating the conference all night. We are using 12 refurbished silences S9s running Braiins OS communicating with Braiins pool over Stratum V2. The machines reach around 6KW. Some people might have already picked this up. I have become chairman of the United Bitcoin Companies the Netherlands. This group of companies has recently won its second lawsuit against the Dutch central bank and is working together with multiple institutions to improve the bitcoin landscape in the Netherlands. It is for instance hard to get a bank account if you start a bitcoin company. We’re currently in the process of finalizing a sector document in cooperation with the Dutch banks, so there’s clear guidance and possibilities instead of standard rejection of bank account requests. We want to make sure that the Netherlands is not pushing every company abroad. In this podcast in Dutch we warn the Dutch regulator for overregulation and excessive cost which might send all companies abroad under micar. The upcoming year will be interesting to say the least. This is Adriaan, he’s like a second father for me. I grew up in a rural area and my neighbors across the street Miet and Adriaan were a big part of our upbringing. He was one of the last sovereign milk barrel transporters by horse cart. National horse ploughing champion and fixer of everything you can think of. “I never thought I would be refurbishing computers at 80+ years old, heck the computer was not there most of my life”. Adriaan is a sovereign man, I learned a lot from him. Thankful he helps me out with our projects. Just not today, because today it’s Sunday. And on a Sunday you don’t work.
