Why do we love La Reserva 100% Cacao so much?
Quite simply—this is where it all began, eight years ago.
When I first arrived in Colombia, I was blessed to meet Marlon and Paola at their permaculture school in Santander. What started as a meeting became a friendship, and over the years that friendship became a deep apprenticeship—with the land, with food, and with life itself.
Through their guidance, I learned what it really means to live in balance: to invest time and energy into the Earth, to grow food with care, and to work with natural rhythms rather than against them.
The penny dropped hard with coffee.
Weeks spent harvesting beans beneath the shade canopy—talking, laughing, sweating, watching sunlight dance through the plants. Then following the beans through every step of the process, all the way to that first cup. Completing that full circle changed everything. For the first time, I truly understood value. Knowing the work, patience, and precision behind that cup transformed coffee into something closer to medicine.
Cacao is the same—but deeper still.
Years of tending trees before the first harvest. Days of fermentation and preparation. A process that is delicate, exacting, and quietly scientific. Nothing rushed. Nothing wasted.
So when you know all this—when you know the cacao is single-origin, grown on land lovingly cared for by people you trust, land you are deeply connected to yourself—La Reserva becomes something else entirely.
This cacao carries years of attention, discipline, and love. You can feel it.
May these scarce blocks of nutritious gold meet you exactly where you are, and give you the strength, clarity, and energy to keep moving forward in your pursuit of freedom.
You’ve earned it. 🍫🌱⚡
