GM Nostr fam, happy Monday cheer to you all! Presenting a little update from Bitcoin Beans HQ. The site from which Bitcoin Beans will be setting up full time Proof of Work. Earliest stage of the work - levelling the land on the ridge. First surprise, the ridge is not wide enough to accommodate my 4m hexagon shaped structure. I’ve had to cut my living space from 4m wide to 3.5m. This gives a length of just over 3m and each side 1.75m. Total floor space 8.6sqm. Humbling myself! And at the same time very excited to enjoy the full light exposure, warmth, coastal breeze and killer sun set every night. And the space perfectly overlooks the cacao forest down to the left so I can keep a good eye on all the babies! Magic be movin!

Big moment at Bitcoin Beans Cacao Farm - Winmakū Our first cacao pods are coming through! A big surprise! This tree was planted last October. It is a grafted tree purchased from a local nursery and I assumed had been in the bag for maybe a year. I thought it would take one more year at least so this is a good sign, the soil is fertile, the tree is strong, the graft was highly successful, and the love and devotion to the land combined forces in a magical way. That said, I shall trim them off so that the tree can continue to give energy to its growth phase and structure rather than producing a tiny harvest this first year. The dream is well alive! There shall be cacao direct from my labour of love, my PoW WOW! Onwards!
