I’m a bit late to posting this to Nostr after some difficulty with Primal but here is the fountain link to my chat with Freddie New and Susie Violet-Ward from @Bitcoin Policy UK on the regulation surrounding Bitcoin usage and mining in the UK. I’m very grateful for their time and their work at Bitcoin Policy UK.

Unpopular opinion: Arguing economic principles with someone who subscribes to Keynesian economics but is clearly genuinely smart at their core, can make coherent arguments and respects an argument is actually fun. Not only is it fun but I have found it makes me really question some things I have unconsciously trusted because a Bitcoiner has said them. There is never nothing to learn from anyone. Not only this but it refines my arguments by having to portray them in a way which is understandable to someone that isn’t me. This is intellectually satisfying beyond belief. Society needs to learn how to disagree.
