I’m at LAX and the Asian couple beside me asked the ticketing agent where the sleeping lounge was located. When the agent replied, “We don’t offer anything like that here” they seemed very confused and after some discussion finally responded, “Sleeping pods are fine then.” LMAO. All I could think is ‘Toto, you aren’t in Asia anymore.’

I prefer a public square that doesn’t have secret algorithms that suppress voices.

Happy Thanksgiving Nostriches! Here is a throwback to one of my favorite Thanksgivings (2011) when we did a morning 5k and met these Kenyan marathoners and their coach. We invited them all to dinner and they enjoyed their first Thanksgiving. They brought a Kenyan dish called ugali which was cornmeal and water. This is also what they consumed during their marathons for energy rather than gels or goos. It is a memory for which I will always be grateful 💓 I hope your day is filled with family, food, and great memories!

This is the most stupid easy recipe I make that my family raves about so I thought I would share on #foodstr Trashy Cheesesteak 1 lb ground beef I small onion 1 green bell pepper 4 slices Kraft singles Salt & pepper (Sometimes I add mushrooms as pictured here but my kids prefer it without) Sauté chopped onion in butter for few mins, add ground beef and brown, add chopped bell peppers. Cook until peppers are soft. Add the cheese slices on top, once they look slightly melted, stir it all together. Serve on buttered and toasted hoagie rolls. Enjoy!

Try paying for this meal with it and see what happens.” Later she generously took the check and put her credit card down.
