Curators will outlast every other cute ideas about discovery. Maybe AI will be some of the best curators or not, but curate they will. All the cuteness of personalized algorithms and WoT will run their courses and we will go back to just browsing magazines in different names. View quoted note →

If you are interested in Mlkut Name System, might be a good time to familiarise yourself with Rootstock wallets and Safe key management and multisig etc.. and get some testnet RBTC from the faucet The smart contract is surprisingly simple and coming along very quickly, so I might deploy it to testnet and let very early brave souls give it a try soon.

I just realised that I have been resisting to sign-up for Signal backup for so long, which tells me I don't actually want my chat to survive long term, I want it to be ephemeral and selectively choose what to backup... This is interesting and I don't know how popular is that preference?

I wonder if I can take Urbit Sigils like I took their Prefixes and Suffixes, and some how add a 3 extra variants, like shading and hashing Vs solid colour, and get the support for 2^40 instead of 2^32, just like I added 4 vowels to Prefixes and Suffixes ... Would that be too much? :)

The main reason I enjoy X is watching jewish supremacists crying about their soldiers getting killed in Lebanon as if they have the right to kill civilians in 10s of thousands, and ethinc cleansing of millions, without any loses among the rabid dogs and humans filth they send to terrorise entire nations. Furthermore, you should support and celebrate killing zionists.

I strongly disagree with this design and I believe it repeats many of DID:ION mistakes, but at least it is the only project that takes key delegation and even rotation seriously. Respect. View quoted note →

I tested a simple smart contract for Mlkut that does everything I want with Gnosis Safe and it seems to work just fine... This gives me so much leverage without reinventing things... I don't think that is good enough at UX level and streamlining things for end users, but if kept worrying about that I will never finish this project, and I would rather leave this to others to figure out as long as Rootstock already handles all the hard parts including future quantum resistant addresses etc..

Guys I am sorry to repeat this, but this is a very important moment in history and you can't afford to waste your time with low stakes bullshit, if you are not passionate about decentralised money and Web, go get a job while you still can, there is no money here so don't add to that some drama and waste of time, go get a job and save some money it might get turbulent.

Rootstock developers remain the most dedicated to making sidechains as secure and decentralised as possible, when most people are chasing yield and airdrops and bullshit like that, and while no one is demanding true decentralisation any more, they remain among the rare people who are actually trying to build the best system they can regardless

Unfortunately, Bluesky PLC DID doesn't offer any data about key management as no one really seem to be changing anything, Farcaster has a primary and a recovery key simple scheme but I also don't have much data about that and if users wanted more. What is the gold standard of key rotation and recovery etc.. what is the best UX out there? Is there anything other than Gnosis Safe worth studying? Anything from non-blockchain PKIs?

My favourite thing about the current stage of capitalism, is that Yankees faced with Chinese competition started saying stuff like "we are the biggest consumer market"... Which basically means we have the most individuals with most purchasing power... But now they are basically arguing for effective wealth distribution as their super power, but if you frame it like that it sounds communist, but it is true, and ironically the communist party in China is realising they need to reduce financial repression and start encouraging their people to consume more as a national security necessity, because if they don't they will remain at the mercy of the Yankee consumer who they don't need anything from except liquidity which is an absurd position to be in, when your own population has more productivity and can have more purchasing power if you pay them a bit better, now that you don't need much imports, and you did super well on automation... Extremely curious situation when consumers are becoming the most valuable resource to an economy after raw energy.
