Bitcoin failed to be the regulator of the internet finance, mostly unforced failure... But it didn't fail at enabling unregulated censorship resistant finance to a lot of people who need it. Say what you want about Hyperliquid, but people want it, and it would have been impossible before Bitcoin. I would prefer a version secured by Bitcoin (and it is very much possible)... But hey, half success is better than no success.

Bitcoin is consensus enforced monetary policy, but for some reason it refuses to become a consensus enforced general purpose court, which it can be with the most minimal changes imaginable!
Every centralized service you are already using because Bitcoin doesn't scale, could be regulated against rugpulls by Bitcoin smart contracts, but we refuse to allow Script to concatenate strings for some reason :)
Iran must be the first country that gains more power after getting punched in the face so hard!
I want a Bitcoin wallet that has;
1. Checking account using Cashu mint for private and high speed payments.
2. Savings account using smart vaults on Rootstock to avoid $5 wrench attacks without being a paranoid prepper.
3. Investment features like stable coins / derivatives / etc .. using Rootstock as well, because eventually Bitcoin will be no longer an investment, and you will need to invest in the productivity of others if you want to grow your wealth.
All of these features exist in every bank mobile app, Bitcoin shouldn't be a step backwards.
Again, any system working on BitVM will lose because Rootstock already has 80% of Bitcoin hashrate and the oldest most reputable multisig, so as soon as they upgrade that with BitVM, how would you compete with that?
For example what the hell is the point of ShieldedCSV on Bitcoin when you can have it on Rootstock?
More consolidation... Maybe a win here can buy Trump the political capital he needs to retreat from the Persian gulf entirely.

Why is Bitcoin price rising? Who is buying?
If you believe in AI ability to automate most work, it only follows that the liberties afforded to workers (yes you are a worker) and tax payers suddenly isn't necessary anymore. The biggest war lord wins, as work itself becomes as easy to capture as nature resources. In that future, almost nothing matters more than politics, focusing on your personal work won't move the needle whatsoever.
This doesn't mean you need to vote harder, it means you need to start learning how to understand and affect the only system that will matter going forward; governance at scale, aka politics.

zionists are rabid dogs, and the more weak they feel the more they will try to destroy as much as you can, just because they envy old established society and all their heritage. They won't only kill your children but bomb your historical sites, because they can't stand that you have any while they are and will remain, just a bunch of thugs.
You should remember #what_the_jews_did to you, next time you vote.

It is such a strange feeling to not be anxiously waiting for the end of zionism and American hegemony in the region, and instead watch it actually in the beginning of its end. The feeling of "Now what?", endless opportunities for those with imagination and agency.
If you are an American, and you want your country back, liberate yourself from zionism, stop worrying what they think or what do they call you, they don't have any more power than what you give them.
I would happily start zapping people if it is based on Rootstock to pay fees for miners. 12 seconds is long as hell, but, zero conf isn't bad in that context, as there is nothing being exchanged anyways.
Never been more optimistic about the end of zionism in my lifetime... If only Bitcoin upgrades were as likely :')
People are having fun online... And maybe more.

Nostr didn't rescue the Web from extreme urgent censorship, Bluesky didn't either, it was Telegram again. Chat apps remain undefeated.
What the fuck are these people talking about? We have reached levels of nonsense that makes JavaScript ecosystem sounds intelligent. If you can; escape to robotics or something serious before the web becomes nothing but useless talk about productivity without producing anything.
