Checking out The #BitcoinMealCombo at @steaknshake In NZ I think i'm part of the #crunchymom gang. I avoid seed oils like the plague, especially when it comes to feeding the kids so we very rarely eat fast food. So finding out that Steak n Shake now use of 100% all-natural beef tallow in all its restaurants I was super keen to try. AND they accept #bitcoin ANNNNNDDD They have a Bitcoin Meal combo. It was brilliant to sit down with Hermann from @bitcoinekasi we discussed Bitcoin Circular economies around the world. Our communities are very different and yet our vision is united. The money is broken and Bitcoin is the answer. It's more than the price of Bitcoin, it's the potential of what it can do for the world. A key to so many without access to a chance at prosperity. In the western world things can often look great from the outside. People seem to be doing well and living prosperous lives. Yet under the surface so many families are struggling, businesses are overwhelmed and at some point those cracks are going to crumble it all. It's inevitable. The banks are nervous.. One of the biggest challenges is showing how fundamentally different Bitcoin is from 'Crypto' so Bitcoin doesn't get lumped in with this fear promo. Because labels stick and are hard to peel off. In order to build trust and improve adoption rates we will have to work on education and explain the reasons why Bitcoin is different. I'd love to know what led people to Bitcoin. For me, it was reading how much money has been printed, particularly over the last 4 years. What was it for you?

For me, the moment that the 'Penny' really dropped was when I read about the money printer. We all accept the world in which we are presented... -until something jolts us out of the matrix. I have never been an 'academic' but once I started to ask questions about my world I began an all consuming quest for answers. For me, Bitcoin or at least Decentralised uncorrupted money answers a lot of the questions. Everyone has a different reason for seeking Bitcoin, or stumbling upon it. For all the different reasons, the sentiment of the orange pilled folk seems clear to me. That once it hit, it hit. Bitcoin is an energy and a force.

I began a short series of clips for newbies, or friends of Bitcoiners who need some simpler explaining. If we want to promote world wide adoption we really need to talk to people on different levels. It can be intimidating for people who don't understand the technology or potential, and that is one hurdle we can remove.

I'm brand new to Nostr, looking through the feed I feel like i'll be preaching the the choir with this one. A choir that can not only sing better than me but has already a harmonious group. It's great to see so many people who are already orange pilled. Either way, as I continue to learn about bitcoin I want to share simple clips for other newbies on as many platforms as I can access.
