@RUNSTR - I signed up and looked around. Got a lot of cool stuff in here. 👏💜 It looks like the app only pulls info via Location. Are there plans to pull/calculate effort from other sources? I walk daily, often in my house, so Location info is useless. The Pedometer++ app calculates distance based on height and sex, and the sMiles app uses the iOS Health app for Steps and Walking+Distance. I’d love to use this app, so wondering if a later version will account for non-Location based entries?

I assumed since Procreate Dreams came out, Procreate didn’t have any animation features any more. It does! And they’re pretty cool and do exactly what I need. Also, creating hand-drawn frame-by-frame animation is a bit tedious. 😅 #procreate #animation #contest

Spent the morning updating apps and OS. Then created a test recording in Procreate, and imported it into iMovie. I’ve used iMovie for years to create fan music videos, but this is the first time I’ve used that program on my iPad. After figuring out where the controls were, I imported the Procreate recording and did some edits. Proof of Concept Accomplished!!! Now on my way to having a submission for the @nostr.build video contest. 🎉

I’m starting research on a large creative project (designing a personal tarot deck). Checking books out of the library is a good way to see how useful they are. Spent the afternoon with this book and given the number of flags I used on useful pages, it’s one a want to buy. Now I just need to decide hardcover or Kindle…? If you’re interested in science fiction and fantasy art by Michael Whalen, his website shop has his first art book, Wonderworks, available as a PDF for $10 ($15 after January 1st). 120 pages. Introductions to 6 genres by writers such as Poul Anderson, Michael Moorcock, C.J. Cherryh, Anne McCaffrey, Gerald Page, and Alan Dean Foster. Tons of cover art and concept sketches. This was originally published in 1979, so it’s Michael’s early works.
