This post is 3 days late, but... W e kicked off our first official day of summer break with a walk, errands, & a craft. We met a fellow homeschool family on our walk and exchanged numbers. We're planning to meet for a playdate! We kicked off our first official day of summer break with a walk, errands, & a craft. On the final leg of our walk we came across free veggies! Finally, we started a paper plate butterfly craft while Riley napped. It was a great first day on the job! 😉♥️

🫘🍅 Beans and rice and homegrown tomatoes with salt & pepper sounded like a good dinner tonight. 🍅🫘 I made extra beans in the instant pot back in January so I pulled them out the freezer for a quick meal. All I had to do was make 1/2 cup of jasmine rice with bullion (I did a mix of tomato and chicken) and I have 2 meals.

If you aren't making tortilla pizzas what are you doing??? I switched out naan bread for tortillas and haven't looked back. This is the most cost effective meal I've made in a long time. The kids love it too! Today I used basil and tomatoes from my garden to create a makeshift margherita pizza. 🍕
