I might be insane, but I'm going to try to prep ALL of this during nap time. 🍋‍🟩🍋🍎🟠🥔🥩🥒🍅🫑 image
If you hover over your child at the park. I'm silently judging you. 💀
I've been walking since the 1st of June. I finally walked 10K today. ✨ image
A lot the reels/shorts I've seen today have "pick me" energy. Woe is me blah blah blah. So many people need direction and purpose in life. They also need confidence. We get one life. Don't wallow in pity. Find a way to enjoy it. Even on the hard days.
Good morning! My kids slept in until 8 and 9am! 😱 Unheard of. I'm making baked potatoes in the Crock pot for the first time. We'll check on them in 8 hours. 🥔🧂
I really love how "labubu" dislike is bringing the Internet together. I needed this after being reminded not to trust any politician. Even if they have a memior (it's probably ghost writer anyway) 🫠
We attended our first science lesson at our local swamp today! We learned about ovals in nature and completed various activities such as: observing oval shaped objects around us, painting a turtle, reading a story, a nature walk, & games. I'm so glad I found this program and can't wait for our next class in September. image
It's undeniable that Redmond's real salt tastes better than Morton's. image
Testing the limits of my crockpot today with a *nearly* overflowing batch of chili. 🍲🌶️ image
Our daughter spontaneously decided to get her hair cut this morning. My heart hurts a little bit. 🥲♥️ @OceanSlim
Vocab word for 2025: Disillusioned Just like F. Scott Fitzgerald when he wrote The Great Gatsby. Thankfully Bitcoin keeps reeling me back in. Brownie points if you can name the time period for the setting of the novel.
Sometimes I randomly remember that Ghislaine Maxwell's father (Robert) was involved with MgGraw Hill (textbook company) and it reminds me to look into other textbook companies. 🤔
I keep seeing news articles about this. It's all about saving face instead of reworking the budget to serve the students. They don't need a 10 year commitment to a textbook company or a new initiative with a paid speaker, classrooms need supplies for student success. Credit: I was a public school teacher for 7 years. I've seen my own district forbid sharing classroom wishlists, commit to major textbook companies, & pay many educational specialists to rebrand the wheel. Additionally, I've been told we weren't pulling our weight to earn our salary and need to take on additional certifications & accolades to receive government funding to cover the unwavering salary scale. image
