🌿 Week 11 Co-op - Halloween Party 🌿
🎃 Today we partied with friends. We had Halloween themed treats, ghost bowling, toss the pumpkin, a cauldron sensory bin, witch hat ring toss, & personalized coloring pages. I am so thankful for this community 🫶 🎃

Tomato basil soup from the freezer + grilled cheese.
My 4yo ate 1.5 sandwiches and 2 bowls of soup!

📚🐦 Our First Storytime & Craft 🐦📚
Our co-op wanted to meet more than once a week so we implemented a biweekly story time and craft.
Ms. Amber read a story, we played a name game using a pumpkin, & made a bird feeder craft using cardboard, peanut butter, & birdseed.
I personally enjoyed leading the craft and creating an "exemplar" to guide everyone through the steps. ♥️

🎃 Today we painted pumpkins, played red-light green-light and played tag! 🎃
Seeded grapes from a buy nothing group becomes seedless with a little elbow grease 🍇

The cool temps this morning inspired me to make grilled cheese & tomato basil soup for lunch. I've never made it before, but we had the ingredients lying around so I figured why not try it out. I can't wait to run my immersion blender through this in about an hour. 😋

🎃 Today we made observations about pumpkins (touch, taste, sight, smell) and made our own jack-o'-lantern out of paper. 🎃
