“Do you even ACTUALLY help the local community?!”
I’ve received various versions of this since starting BEC; admittedly mainly from anonymous accounts online looking for an excuse to take a shot. 😂
So here’s one cool win:
Remember when we interviewed teenage, female, Muslim heavyweight boxer Malaika Atique?!
Well that video did great across platforms, esp TikTok and Facebook.
So much so, when Malaika attended the event a couple weeks ago, she was taken aback by the warm response she received from many other attendees who recognised her from that video.
Add in the international guest speaker Azam Jaafri who came all the way from Bahrain to Batley…
…met Malaika at the event, and has since kindly sponsored her via delicious, nutritious brand Foodery.
Considering the event itself was about “from local to global”, this is just the icing on the cake as a facilitation of that.
In a world obsessed with productivity hacks and morning rituals, the power of repetition and habit reinforcement is undeniable.
But consider this: if purifying rituals aim to elevate the soul for a return to the divine, then perverted rituals seek to corrupt it.
The E-Files have spiritual warfare at the heart of them.
They revealed a societal rot and cancer that's global in nature.
But this isn't just about worldly corruption; practitioners deeply believe in the spiritual consequences of their actions, whether purification or desecration.
Understanding this spiritual dimension is crucial.
Protecting your spirit and energy is paramount.
The forces at play are deeply rooted in spirituality, and there's a deliberate effort to steer people away from religion and spiritual awareness.
This is why you never hear about these aspects in business and brand building, and why they're pretty much footnotes in the education system.
Once you realise the same people who determine policy for the education and every other system, are the same people implicated in the files...
...you then understand why this has happened.
Whatever project, business, side-hustle, career you're building...
...spirituality has to be at the heart of it.
Legendary linkup at Lala’s in Batley.
Nice little classy place, predominantly used for celebratory functions.
Food was good.
Vibe was good.
Company even better.
May have to start utilising Lala’s for more Batley Entrepreneurship Club events.
Day 3 of the Minotaur Ramadan challenge…
…yesterday we overcame temptation and didn’t go for the samasas on the table 😂
First real test passed. Although feeling dehydrated and groggy today.
Also had a BEC workshop - which didn’t go ahead as planned.
Turned into an open session instead.
With a few doctors in the club, I see a privatised health initiative coming out, esp. given the community challenges we face.
Next workshop next week on raising investment for beginners.
How’s your ramadan challenge going?
So many of us feel checked out, disconnected from the system. Why?
Apart from the fact that a group of criminal-pedos determine policy, structure, conflicts, media and so on...
...there is another reason:
We've stopped building for truth, justice, honor, dignity.
Our systems prioritize power, status, profit, greed.
We're meant to be caretakers, cultivators, establishing justice on Earth.
The modern day system is therefore in direct conflict with our natural and innate disposition.
How can you therefore NOT checkout?!

Next Batley Entrepreneurship Club Workshop tomorrow at 2pm on Business Planning.

Day 2 of the Minotaur Ramadan challenge today, will be the real test.
Yesterday we smashed it with only grilled healthy eating.
But there was no temptation on the table - there is today 😂
Also been told by wiser heads to not go cold turkey, and eat in moderation instead - sound advice.
Shout out to the team at Batley Law for the gifts, very nice - thank you.
Will be down soon iA.
And finally…the iftari invites are comin’ in alreadeh.
How’s Ramadan going for y’all?
Part 2 of 2 - What should be the response to the Epstein files
Following on from the last part, this goes into more detail about ultimate self development:
1 - Become iron-tight with your spiritual/religious practice
2 - Become physically strong and fit
3 - Build skills, experiences & connections
And then connect and collaborate with others doing the same.
Part 1 already released, this is part 2.
Both are clips from the longer video on YT:
Part 1 of 2 - What should be the response to the E files.
This dirty system has created a purposelessness crisis - how can it not?
The whole thing is designed for the majority to be economic slaves whilst the few at the top commit every act of debauchery unchecked.
The release of the files however flip that.
Now every single person should be lit up with purpose - bring these morons to justice, and clear the cancer of this dirty system.
Part 1 here talks a little bit about the collective action needed. Part 2 up soon.
Both are clips from the longer video on YT:
The names in the E Files need to be noted.
The influence they have on politics, wars, policy and so many other things need to be noted.
One name not being dragged enough is Peter Thiel.
You’re talking about connections and business dealings between billionaires, private military contractors, sex traffickers, leading political figures and companies with technologies that should send shivers down your spine.
Business isn’t simply about profit generation.
Corporations, companies and technology are used for nefarious means.
They are the real power brokers.
You either build stuff to counter this, or become enslaved by it.
What Will you help build?!
Discussed more in detail:
Unfortunately we are not taking this issue seriously enough as a community.
Huge respect to Asif here who has been open about his struggles with health.
This is a comment you need to read again and again.
As with most things, you won’t take action until the situation becomes dangerous.
By then, it could well be too late.
This is certainly an area where more role models need to step forward and influence the next gen the right way.
Brand building shouldn’t just be for profit…
…but for impacting the community in a positive manner.
Therefore more health conscious brands need to step forward and be supported too.
Especially because this requires deep-rooted behavioural changes; and therefore motivational and educational videos will not be enough.
Bad dieting is one of my biggest regrets in life.
It’s the reason I too often look and feel 59 despite being 39.
Too many are making the same mistake.
Forget compound interest from a financial perspective…
…be more worried about compound interest from a bad diet perspective.
Because it will catch up to you.
This Ramadan I’ll be iA doing my own Minotaur Ramadan challenge:
- No junk food
- No fried food
- No desserts
- No fizzy drinks
Join me in doing the same 💪🏽
Ramadan Mubarak!
Protecting your mental health is paramount.
The release of the E Files will desroy your mental health very quickly if you're not careful.
But another, less talked about aspect, which will be equally destructive, if not more...
...is seeing how the world, and people, just carry on as normal, as if nothing has happened.
You won't understand it. Don't try to.
Find your tribe of people intead, to keep yourself sane.

Cleanliness is a huge part of our faith; yet we do have a littering issue in our communities.
One of the major pushbacks in the Batley food scene is the amount of rubbish that gets dropped in the streets after people go out to eat.
I discussed this with Phat Spuds, and NY Krispy owner Zahir Akbar, who said we need to take individual and collective responsibility for this.
He himself picks up any rubbish he sees with their branding, as that becomes a reputational issue.
The other food outlets are encouraged to do more as well.
Phat Spuds have an offer on this week ofr half term for all kids, with 99p meals; along with other offers.

The heart of today's systemic issues often lies within the financial and banking system.
This evil mofo explains a little about fractional reserve banking.
The concept is that for every dollar held by a bank, it can lend out significantly more, a reality that is difficult for many to grasp, including those outside financial circles.
This inherent mechanism, while functional, contributes to a sense of fraudulence and injustice within the global financial structure.
Participating in fiat currency transactions means engaging with this deeply ingrained system, a reality that impacts all aspects of our lives.
This is the beating heart of socieal decay, rot, corruption and all of the disgusting things revealed in the files.
So one thing you can do, is really understand the modern day banking and financial system.
Because if you truly grasp the extent of its corruption, there's only one conclusion you will come to:
It needs to be changed!
Full video on YouTube:
We are not angry enough.
The Epstein Files are not like every other “distraction” to be ignored, or brushed under the carpet.
They shake the foundational core of the society we are all living, and participating in.
If this doesn’t catapult you into action, nothing will.
And there’s plenty of action that can, and should be taken.
On an individual level.
On a community level.
And then on a global level.
Discussed more in detail:

Batley needs more healthier options.
I assumed Phat Spuds only did Jacket Potatoes - turns out they do a lot more.
Here, I dig into some mixed steak - although I did end up gettin' it with chips.
I'm no food reviewer infloooansaaahh 😂 - so can't explain it like they do...
...but I can say it genuinely was really nice.
The food scene in Batley is bangin'
I spoke with Phat Spuds owner Zahir Akbar about this and other interesting things.
Check out the full vid on YouTube.
I sat down with Phat Spuds Batley owner, Zahir Akbar.
We talked about the food scene in Batley, which is booming, along with the community initiatives Phat Spuds are doing.
We discussed the competition of food places in Batley, as well as the need for healthier options...and even touched upon the littering issue.
Zahir also provided some advice and insight to the younger generation looking to start a business in this climate.
Phat Spuds have some offers on for half term next week:
- 99p meals for kids
Other offers include 10% discounts for students, NHS staff...and 10% off for the general public between the hours of 11am-3pm.

When you first encounter harsh realities, it's natural to go through disbelief and denial.
This often leads to discomfort, then despair.
But despair leads to inaction.
This video is about channeling that outrage into fuel for change, helping you stay sane and take meaningful action without losing hope.
The Epstein files aren't just about a few individuals; they expose a deeper problem.
For the first time, we have undeniable proof that our system is rotten at its core.
This explains why we're seeing so much depression, mental health and so many other issues.
The rot starts at the top, impacting every level.
These are the people who govern, create policies, and build infrastructure.
It's not everyone, but there are enough in very influential positions, contaminating the entire system.
This was a small excerpt from the long video on why these files are important for everyone to take seriously; and the implications for global society as a whole.
