Do not look down on individuals that are on Suboxone treatment programs. If done correctly, it can be a lifesaver for some. 6 years ago I was sleeping on benches and living in trap houses, smoking a gram if heroin daily. I started Suboxone, fast forward to today and I've been clean off the dope for 5.5 years and off Suboxone for a little over 3 years. I received a knee injury on a BMX bike at the age of 17 and was put on 20mg of Oxycodone my life went downhill pretty quickly after that. I managed to live a double life for years and kept my addiction a secret from everybody. That didn't last forever. Eventually, I lost family and was unable to be around my own children. That's what it took to make me admit to myself how bad if a problem I really had. After close to 2 years of trying to quit cold turkey and failed Methadone treatment & rehabs, I decided to try a Suboxone program. It helped save my life. You can't begin to imagine the physical and mental agony an addict goes thru, unless you've nem there yourself. Don't look down on these people, they probably look down on themselves as it is. Be there for them, offer them true help. Not everybody is in that position because of poor life choices.

I haven't smoked a single cigarette today and am trying my hardest not to walk down to the store and buy a pack. But dear god, I am one irritated person at the moment.

Playing around with a few layouts for NostrLink. Using LittleLink for it doesn't really make sense, was just a super quick way to set something up. I do want it to be pretty bareboned tho. Doesn't need to be flashy. Might just end up using tables for things and calling it good.

Strange. If I use @plebstr with this npub I am unable to successfully add any relays. If I use it with @pinecones npub I can add relays without issue. I'm unable to make any sense of this.

Can a landlord evict you for having an unspayed dog? My landlord did know my dog was unspayed when we moved in but was told she would be after her first heat cycle. She just sent me a text asking if it's been done or if we have an appointment set up yet.
