Amazing. I don't work for the lady who bought the store but I will already say, I feel more respected and appreciated by her already than I did with the last 2 previous owners. She has had numerous people ask her in person and on Facebook (including friends of hers) if she planned in asking me back. She told me she thinks of me as the face of the store and offered me $18hr starting pay.

I run @GrapheneOS on my Pixel 9 and keep a Moto G 5G with @LineageOS as a secondary backup device. One thing I've noticed about Lineage is that it just looks better out of the box with all default apps following the dark theme. I always have to replace a few default apps on GrapheneOS because that drives me insane.

Switched the Dell OptiPlex in the living room to Fedora Kinoite from Debian. I normally prefer GNOME/GTK but KDE seemed like a better choice that would feel more comfortable for the family when they use it. Hopefully the immutable setup will prevent anybody breaking things. I was pleasantly surprised that the wired connection worked out of the box as it was a headache with Debian and I resorted to WiFi. I actually liked how everything seemed to run that I replaced my IdeaPad's Debian install with Workstation.

I've never used an immutable Linux distro but am thinking about trading the Debian install on the shared system to one the Atomic Fedora spins. Anybody have any thoughts on this? Looking to make it as simple as possible for others to use without them borking anything.
