There is one reason alone why I have been keeping my Google account and that is Google Voice. I use that number vs giving out my main phone number in certain situations. It also helps that it is "free". Paying for a 2nd line that I will rarely use just isn't justifiable to me. However, I'll be porting my Voice number to Hello Mobiles $5 plan sometime this month, as soon as they offer eSim. Unlimited talk & text with 500mb data for $5/month will be a perfect alternative. The limited data doesn't matter, as my main line has that covered.

My wife dropped her phone and it finally died this time. I picked up a POCO X3 NFC a few years ago when it released, left it plugged into my laptop after rooting and flashing an AOSP based rom to it and it fell to the floor when I picked the laptop up, breaking the screen and making the digitizer useless. The same day it arrived. Decided to dig it out and spend $50 on a replacement screen vs hundreds on a new device. The surgery was a success.

Been feeling off the last few days and woke up today feeling like I was ran over by a bus and have been super congested. Was going to call out of work but work asked me to come in early because everybody else called out sick. So I went in early. Also went in yesterday on my day off to fill in for somebody who called out sick. Maybe working at the business directly below where I live was a poor choice. 😂

Queen Maeve is getting some much needed rest. A few baths with the medicated shampoo has already made a huge difference. No itching driving her crazy and keeping her awake.

I took Maeve for her annuals and 3 year rabies vaccine at ShotVet and when I pulled out cash to pay, the guy looked at me like I was from another planet. An older lady scoffed at him saying it was ridiculous if I was going to be turned away for paying for a service with money & offered to pay for me. I told her no and thanked her for offering. The guy had to find a superior to ask they accepted cash as payment. They did. Absolutely retarded.

Off to the clinic to get Maeve her rabies vaccine and pick up some medicated shampoo and wipes for her face. Her eyes have almost cleared up entirely, so hopefully this shampoo will clear up her itching and chewing. If not it's another vet bill that I can't really afford. 😮‍💨 I love her, so I'll drop as much money as needed on fixing her up.
