I started work on my 1947 Ford 2N tractor the other day. It’s time for an engine rebuild. I enjoy the focus and concentration it takes to disassemble, inspect, repair and reassemble. It’s a slow process but a great spare time activity. Not that I have a lot of spare time, but it’s a task that needs to be accomplished and checked off the list of to do’s. #grownostr

When the boy shows up at 10:45 pm and says “I hit something in the road and my radiator is leaking and I gotta be back in Missouri on Sunday.” Well, let’s get to wrenching! 5 hours of sleep, a trip to Bumper to Bumper and in less than 12 hours it’s roadworthy again. Fun times!! #grownostr

Picked up two miniature Hereford cows that are supposed to be bred. We’ve been wanting to get some beef to graze the pasture and figure a smaller breed for our small acreage would be ideal. They are enjoying the fresh grass and plentiful sunshine. #grownostr #beef #meat

Gauging interest…. We started selling our pork locally and I’ve thought of offering it for shipping out of state. It has been processed at an inspected facility and can be shipped within the US.
