so i opened the Alienware to check for compatibility WRT adding second SSD and even though the idiot review said the back panel was just a bunch of phillips screws sure enough as i expected it was additionally held together super tight by a bunch of clips like my last Dell Precision and just like last time some of them broke while opening even though these time the clips were plastic while last time they were magnesium ... the good news is the screws for the SSD are already in place so that's one less thing to worry about ... the slightly less good news is dell placed the SSD very close to the cover so there was no room for Samsung SSD with a heatsink - which is fine - it's just a storage drive - so i simply opted for a mid-range SSD that doesn't need a heatsink ... now for the bad news ... because of motherfucking X-Dog-Mas and every Christ-Cuck ordering presents for their fambly no matter what product on Amazon i looked at they all had earliest delivery on Saturday which is 4 days, whereas usually i get get 2 day, next day, overnight or even same day delivery. so now the laptop has to stay open for the next 4 days because if i close it i will break more clips opening it next time so i want to make sure i install the SSD first before closing it ... that means i can't use the laptop for the next 4 days and i actually have a bunch of work that needs to be done on it, which i was hoping to do today ... but ultimately that isn't even the worst news. the worst news is that on my 1st haul i had to wait for FucksGiving to be over before i could drive to avoid running into issues with hotels, traffic, closed places etc. and now it seems like i may have to wait until both X-Dog-Mas and New-Year-New-Me resolutionists day both pass before i can once again be in the clear. fucking Ameritards and their holidays. i swear these animals never progress past the intellectual level of a 6 year old. it's all sportsball and holidays for them. with everything going on in the world all they care about is their Christmas decorations. so i am paying mortgage / property taxes / bills for both houses now just to wait for American Subhumans to finish with their fucking holidays. i mean Thanksgiving is a full week of holidays and realistically so is Christmas / New Years. how the fuck you do this every year and not get tired of it ? i banned my parents from getting a Christmas tree like 20 years ago because i thought it was ridiculous. i also haven't marked my birthday since i turned 21 because after 21 you just get closer to death - nothing to celebrate. but my boomer neighbors are all decorating their porches for the 70th time ... and for the 70th time they will listen FOR A FULL MONTH all the same Christmas songs on the radio ... 1 month x 70 years = SIX FULL YEARS of Christmas Songs that a boomer has listened to - and they never get tired of it just like how they never get tired of saying "there are two genders" because even after saying it 10,000 times they still expect to get a pat on the back every time they say it again ... a boomer is like a cuckoo clock - it just goes "two genders, two genders, two genders, two genders" ...

UGH ... i should have gotten the 2TB model, then i wouldn't need to buy a portable drive and the savings i assumed would be there did not materialize anyway because chip prices doubled since i last purchased. never assume - always verify ! this is also true with car rentals. sometimes renting from a different location a mile away the same car will cost half as much or twice as much. never assume - always verify !
