finally figured out why we feel more alive in Summer
a bit counter-intuitive for me because from thermodynamics perspective our energy should be higher when it's cold to balance body temperature
and i previously thought maybe we feel more alive in summer because the girls are half naked and we club more in the summer because night time temperatures are lower which favors summer
but it's actually just because bears hibernate in winter and at some genetic level we are bears
cold weather signals imminent starvation to our lizard brain. even though we need energy to produce heat to stay warm we begin to cut back on energy use to avoid starvation even if we may actually have a full fridge of food.
maybe that's why Sauna has health benefits. perhaps it unlocks our body's capacity to function which winter locks ( bears hibernating ).
maybe that's why i was always so furiously masturbating whenever i would come to Florida. or maybe that's why Spring breakers lose their minds in Florida as well. THE HEAT.
