the trifold makes a lot of sense because it has the right proportions both when folded and unfolded whereas a regular fold is inherently a compromise between the two ...
also i don't think the trifold will be any worse durability wise than regular fold so honestly i would skip the regular fold and go straight to the trifold
obviously wouldn't pay $3,000 for it but Samsung is known for offering deals now and again depending on where you buy it, what you trade in and so on ...
