My read on American politics is that Americans are being disingenuous in claiming to value honesty and facts. If the Biden-to-Harris swap has demonstrated anything, it's that Americans have no problem with liars (the Democratic party has exposed itself to be just that). The only qualification is WHOSE liar are they: ours or theirs. So when they decry Trump for being a prolific liar, these critiques ring hollow. Both parties lie. As a rule. Keep this in mind when looking to any candidate to be a champion for #bitcoin. It's all a fabrication. Americans not only tolerate being lied to; they DEMAND it.

Random pleb. So grain of salt.... but I'd be SHOCKED if dems straight liquidate confiscated corn. That would create TOO stark a contrast between them and Trump and cede the high ground. They'd force too many people's hands. Even if it's their ultimate plan, they don't have the balls to show their hand that decisively. Would only cost them votes. To what? To spite orange man? This situation is emblematic of how the establishment in America is a cancer that has outgrown its blood supply. The tumor is eating itself and dying. ANYONE expressing the sentiment (whether in jest or not) that the assassination of a former president would be anything other than disastrous for the Union is the enemy of America. As someone that is conflicted on Trump, it is clear to me that America's present ends-justify-the-means incentive structure is exactly what lead us to where we are now. It's evil. Machiavellianism. And it's most prominent on the Left (though it is definitely bipartisan).

All media (social and corporate) has converged on gossip. That's all were drowned in daily. Gossip. Masquerading as "news."

The SYSTEM survives on two things: exploitation (eg. slavery, debt, fiat) AND a sorting system (eg. racism, classicism, partisanship). Every social ill has these two components. Focus on the exploitation or the sorting system and you're missing the point. Break. The. System.
