It’s not even December and we’re already getting snow in Denmark. Very unusual. ☃️

I think it’s time for me to get a new hardware wallet.
I’ve been using a Ledger Nano S for many years now. It must be six years at this point.
I need a wallet that supports #Bitcoin and #Monero, which only leaves Ledger and Trezor (not aware of any other).
I feel like Ledger has made multiple L’s in the last few years.
Trezor seems more based, so I’ll probably get the Trezor Safe 5.
It’s crazy how many YouTube channels are making science videos using AI voices. Sometimes it’s hard to know if it’s AI or not…
I’m starting to dislike full stack frameworks like NextJS and Remix. They’re cool because they allow me to work super efficiently.
But then I’m locked into their ecosystem because full stack frameworks are so opinionated.
Separating frontend and backend might take more time, but also gives a lot more freedom and flexibility.
Well, it ain’t perfect yet, but it’s close.
I notice a bug happening when I scroll all the way down. The page will start “jumping”.
I’m using the app on iPhone. @YakiHonne
This might become my new favorite mobile client.
Ditto.pub is the best web client imo and I think YakiHonne will be the mobile client I’ll start using the most.

Of course. People are used to being able to reset their passwords.
The fact that you cannot reset your nsec seems to be a barrier for a lot of people, so they just won’t even give Nostr a try — at least for the people I have talked to regarding Nostr and why I use it.
But even if they tried it, I’m certain that 99% would stop using it within a few days, simply because of the network effect. The people they follow on Instagram, X, or any other platform don’t use Nostr.

The routing system in Remix is so weird, especially coming from NextJS, where routes are nicely organized into folders.
In Remix, every route is just placed in the routes folder. It looks like a mess…
I’m slowly getting used to it, but it really does feel weird to me.

It’s funny how, after a few prompts, LLMs seem to get worse and worse at coding. They stop reading what I actually want and instead start changing the code however they like. That’s been my experience using #ChatGPT and #Claude.
