If you are designing a payment method. Don’t make it something you have to do from an app. You are competing with Apply Pay and Google Pay whether you like it or now. (1) Double click on the power button, (2) tap. I appreciate all the developers who work on this, but every time I pay with @strike for example, I have to (1) open the phone, (2) search for strike and open it, (3) click send bitcoin (4) select how I’m sending (5) aim at a QR code in a dark room with a very bright digital screen. The phone is trying to compensate for exposure, barely knows how to read the QR code, and you sit there hovering the phone up and down left and right with no feedback if the phone read the QR code. We are not going to attract anyone with Apps and QR codes. This is better, but still tooooo many steps. (1) Open phone (2) find app (3) click send (4) another menu pops up with more selections (5) tap Tech is cool, UX won’t win against Apply Pay or a tap to pay card. At least, build the app to use Siri Shortcuts with the action button on the side for one click deep integration. I think Google have something similar as well. View quoted note →

@jb55 I wonder would it be possible to have instruction of the most common AI slop and then ask an AI agent to go through the code to find the most common ones and fix them?
