Since I'm the normies' spokedude, I have to get a bit in Monero's defence. Being a random mofo who has other things on his plate instead of being a cyberpunk and whatever these days, when the whole ecosystem surrounding Bitcoin feels a bit shaky, to say the least, I see Monero as a safety net for payments (eg: VPN). I don't feel very confident in LN right now, and I do it for my inner peace. I don't deny Bitcoin's future, I just offer context. If you're being a dick for people being cautious, you start to sound like the government. My #xmr is not anyone's issue. ✌️
