I don't know what happens when you die. I don't know if heaven is real. I do not know if we have a spirit. I DO KNOW. That last night I was irrate with my girlfriend. I couldn't sleep I was so mad. A couple of things. But it felt.. extra. So I prayed. I prayed that if anything else was impacting how I was feeling, that it be expelled. I prayed that if anything was working within me, the way Leviathan is alleged to do, that it leave me and let me sleep. I prayed in the name of the father, son and holy spirit. I promptly rolled over and went to sleep. Like a light switch, the anger left me, the issues seemed wildly less significant, my body soon began to relax and I felt lighter. The ball in my chest seemed to unravel. I don't know what the future holds. I do know that this is not the only time this has happened. And that last time it wasn't anger that the emotion was rooted in. I am convinced that there are beings who interact with us in unseen ways. Something akin to the adage that the beasts within you are love and hate, and the one that grows is the one you feed. Only that interpretation neglects that you are not the only being with the power to feed them. I am not in the business of making horses drink, but as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.
