fear of a fictional harmful ASI in the future is meaningless. what people are fearing ("a harmful entity that is smarter than humans and will hurt humans") is already happening. satan which is a lot smarter than humans is active and satan's followers are building lots of harmful AIs -- today! and we have an antidote to that, today!

you can't overcome mind by throwing more mind at it. you have to do meaningless (mindless) actions to shut it down gracefully. the inner fight should not make sense but you still do it. things that doesn't make sense to do, is very meaningful. that's why most zen proverbs are contradictory in nature yet they work because they paralyze the mind.
