Let us the faithful honor these two betrothed athletes:
Galaction and modest Episteme.
Their ascetic labors blossomed into martyrdom, therefore we cry to them:
“Glory to Him who has strengthened you!
Glory to Him who has crowned you!
Glory to Him who through you grants healing to all!”
Your holy martyrs, O Lord,
through their sufferings have received incorruptible crowns from You, our God.
For having Your strength, they laid low their adversaries,
and shattered the powerless boldness of demons.
Through their intercessions, save our souls!

Having fought the good fight in frequent battles,
you were numbered among the martyrs of Christ
together with your faithful husband and companion in struggle, Galaction.
With him, you intercede with the one and undivided God, O Galaction,
for the salvation of us all!
You are numbered among the hosts of martyrs
for you were illustrious in mighty contests.
Galaction, together with Episteme your faithful wife and companion in struggle,
unceasingly intercede to the one God for us all.
