We’re living through a profound turning. For a long time, progress meant solving problems faster. Intelligence was measured by output and speed. Now AI can do most of that quicker and more effortlessly. AI is not a replacement for humans but more an invitation for us to return to what cannot be outsourced or sped up: – presence – silence – meaning This turning seems to be pushing many of us back toward practices that don’t scale: journaling, contemplation, conversation, silence and simpler living. As the external world accelerates, the inner world must deepen. What a great time to be alive you beauties.

The more capable AI becomes, the more obvious it is that consciousness was never about intelligence.

We had a cyclone come through the past day and night. Winds and rain have now gone south so time to start clearing the landslide from the driveway.

I stopped reading and watching mainstream news a long time ago, yet I still catch headline snippets—on the radio, or while scrolling through my #nostr feed. The polarization we’re seeing in the world comes from a very low vibrational energy. Many of us have lost touch with what’s real. In times like these, it’s easy to withdraw—and I’m guilty of that myself. The other option is to let fear take hold and choose a side. What helps me is realizing that most of what we experience through centralized sources carries a group bias—usually rooted in fear or scarcity. One simple practice that keeps me grounded is journaling. Putting thoughts on paper slows the mind, dissolves emotional charge, and helps separate what I’m feeling from what’s actually true. It brings me back into my own signal, instead of reacting to the noise. In the grand scheme of the extraordinary universe we live in, there is no true scarcity. No “us versus them.” So instead of withdrawing or choosing a side, pause. Write. Reflect. Then be kind to whoever you meet. Smile for no reason. Make love, not war.
