AW MAN! Yes, this is what it's about! The writing, the music, the set, the costumes, the lighting, the casting, the editing, and everything! I'm super excited for the future of Doctor Who. I can't wait for the 60th now and I certainly can't wait for the next season with the 15th Doctor.

Just finished watching all of Loki season 1 and 2. I liked it! I thought it was quite compelling for Loki's character. I wonder if the story itself comes from the comics... ๐Ÿ˜„

Kinda excited for Doctor Who's 60th anniversary specials. It's releasing on the 25th of November and I'm eagerly waiting to see what happens. I've got a lot of Doctor Who being recommended to me on YouTube now. ๐Ÿ˜„

So I was thinking about a hypothetical, fantasy scenario where in the future the US attempts to ban bitcoin with CBDC's. How far would they go exactly? Many websites don't exactly accept bitcoin or make it easy to use bitcoin. Would it be wise to create a protocol that would replace something like eBay or Amazon? What kind of control could be exerted over the US mailing system? Could a decentralize protocol be created for delivery gig work similar to DoorDash? Of course, every possible protocol here would ideally use bitcoin as the native currency. It's a question of whether it's likely that these things might be necessary in such a scenario. Even if such a scenario is way too unlikely to begin with, I think the idea of protocols like these are still interesting.

Now I just thought of something... On Primal there's a section for "most zapped" on the side. So I guess if you want to advertise something you could potentially set up 2 lightning nodes and then zap yourself more sats than the top note. Of course not all clients will have a "most zapped" section but it's an idea. It really incentivizes a sort of money making and saving game. ๐Ÿ’ก

Watched the FNAF movie today. Wasn't a big fan. Though, as fan service I bet it did well. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Okay, honestly... I have this problem where I want to post all sorts of stuff on nostr but I feel like it doesn't matter unless I feel like I'm doing something. I guess the point is that by posting on nostr I am doing something. So I guess I'll try to post all sorts of garbage here. XD

@Matthew Kratter I know nostr may not have the biggest impact in bringing Bitcoin to the masses, but try not to forget about posting your videos here on nostr. All up to you, of course! ๐Ÿ˜„

@Umbrel โ˜‚๏ธ Have you guys considered adding more nostr client options to the Umbrel store? Would it be possible to add Primal? I honestly haven't done a whole lot of research on which apps people are using and would want. ๐Ÿค”

Imagine an AI model that takes an image or a series of video frames and translates that data into a text file containing generation instructions for Stable Diffusion... Assuming the text file is much smaller than the original file, that might be a huge boon for file compression. Images could be saved as text files. Opening one of these files would have Stable Diffusion generate it and put it into a temporary directory, memory, a cache, or whatever. This could introduce interesting tradeoffs. One could either decide to store image based data on hard drives for fast access or use a GPU & SD to reconstruct the data. The GPU way would probably be a slower way of accessing your data but it would save storage space. The other thing to account for would be the size of the "translation model" and the Stable Diffusion model. This is all just a fantasy though. I certainly haven't thought it all the way through. Someone could already be working on something similar. It also might not be possible. Maybe the idea itself is too inelegant and a little convoluted for something as simple as storing images. But the idea itself gets me thinking. ๐Ÿค”
