https://www.amazon.de/review/R22ZFY3WSRE1NU/: After having read all of @Saifedean Ammous indispensable, educational, and comprehension-transforming books (The Bitcoin Standard, The Fiat Standard, Principles of Economics) & (scientific, engineering, & economical) articles, I can say with absolute certainty and conviction that Ammous' final book, The Gold Standard - An Alternative Economic History of the Twentieth Century, will become the one holistic and inevitably "mandatory" book to read - for all ages and generations to come. This is the one semi-fictional book I had always wished to write - with all the holistic knowledge & comprehension, factual evidence, historical proof & corrections, rational-logical economics rooted in reality (=Austrian School of Economics), deep understanding of the full spectrum of engineering, science, & technologies. Before even attempting to understand the essence & monetary-technological-economical-social aspects of Bitcoin, nearly all readers, including & especially myself, were truly suprised that Ammous' book The Bitcoin Standard (2018) - translated into 39 languages - educated masses of people on nearly 75% of the book the necessary & fundamental question: What is money? What are the historical facts & consequences in connection with gold vs. fiat money? What is inflation & how is it really caused? Why does money need relative (Gold) or absolute scarcity? The factual, evidence-based, & sobering books of Saifedean Ammous makes humanity comprehend - most probably for the first time, especially for those who have not done their deep research into the different layers of rabbit holes - the inconceivable depth of the systemic theft, pain & suffering, wars, corruption, destruction, mass-murder, genocide, population reduction, pedophilia & blackmail on every political-corporate-military-intelligence-academic level, ... and the suppressed technologies for more than a century - all caused by the global & centralized control-structures of the fiat-system. Sooner or later, every human being - especially those with children - has to start asking the essential questions, like Saifedean Ammous had done: "What would the twentieth century have looked like on a gold standard? What would have happened to the state without its money printer? What would have happened to prices, wages, living standards, capital markets, politics, energy production, technology, and education?". It is understandable that nearly all human beings cannot handle the full truth all at once. After more than a century of systemic indoctrination, brainwashing, propaganda, & manipulation - through the Rockefeller influenced & organized educational system, the state-funded media industrial complex etc -, the first step is to question our own understanding of money and everything esle connected with it. Once I started comprehending for the first time how much the central banks, governments, & all centrally controlled structures & puppets have systematically stolen from humanity, then naturally the next question is: Can we even imagine or comprehend the evolutionary technologies, abundance, freedom, & peace on planet Earth - rooted in hard money like Gold, not to mention Bitcoin with its absoluty scarcity of 21 Million & with all its monetary & technological properties?! I truly hope and wish that this final and "golden" book The Gold Standard - which deserves more than 5 stars & my humble comments - will not only be read by billions of people, but will substantially contribute to the exponential acceleration of mass-awakening, comprehension, & critical mass-adoption of global scale. Every mature child and adult capable of reading & understanding, should read Ammous' book The Gold Standard and extract at least one individual question rooted in curiosity & mission of ethos - and start connecting the missing dots in their own and other people's lives. I am truly honoured, positively surprised, and blessed to have been acknowledged by Saifedean Ammous on the final page of The Gold Standard. I am deeply grateful for all of Ammous's research, educational work, and shared knowledge, comprehension, and wisdom. Only parents can understand my final words: With all unconditional Love for all our children and the children of their own - for future generations to come.
