I don't care what you think of me, only how you came to think it.

Elite tech counter: if someone ever hits you with a "nobody asked", simply respond by saying "I know, but I am a very forgiving person." It will take a bit of lingustic algebra for me to adapt this technique to counter "who asked?" however.

My company wanted to put out an ad, but they couldn't afford it. So they pooled their money together with 3 other companies who also couldn't afford an ad and we put together an amalgamation of a commercial advertising each of our different products and services. And Coca-Cola was there too.

The best part of being an adult is not having to do any homework or chores. The worst part of being an adult is choosing to do them anyway. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

The vulnerability vs backdoor debate is very important narratively. If something is a backdoor, then the apparent solution is to avoid trusting people similar to the person who made the backdoor. If something is a vulnerability then the apparent solution is to avoid trusting software similar to the software that had the vulnerability. Of course, judging people's character is not a reliable strategy and all software has bugs, so even if any particular problem was a backdoor, it's still best to lower one's surface area and trust less software. Most of the people screaming "backdoor"! In any given case are not going to be the ones who have some kind of evidence of malicious intent. They are going to be the ones who live in a fantasy world where they can substitute suspicion and personality judgements for critically evaluating software and lowering one's attack surface.
