I’m not really sure I believe in nostr’s claims of value for value over the long term. It’s rather idealistic and disconnected from reality.
In most cases, people’s money is often people’s time. It’s their lifeblood. They don’t have the privilege of venture capital or other structural means.
So in most cases, if you want 10,000 sats from someone, you’re more likely than going to need to earn it by providing a solution to a real problem they’re having.
If I have $30 to spend on art and entertainment, is it really going to go to a post on nostr that I’ll forget about or is it going to be that one event or show in my city?
The reality of business is ruthless but so is the exchange of peoples time and lifeblood for products and services.
