Tails from the fiat fountain… Last week chase/visa texted me about a probably-fraud transaction for Claud/Anthropic. YES, I Replied. Started a card replacement. A few hours later another text but for a lower amount. Today I still saw the first charge as a payment due. So I got clarification that the higher charge occurred twice and one of them was approved. So I wonder what this would look like with bitcoin. I’m thinking the fraud would occur less. But the loss would be significantly higher for those who get compromised.
