When I say “I have the hottest wife” it can mean that she likes to run the oven on the hottest days of the year. Cooking potatoes we grew is worth it.
The dog days of summer present some challenges to growing milkweed from seed. But it’s nothing in comparison to trying to start milkweed in the winter when there are 16 hours of darkness and the high is 18°. So shade cloth and a flood tray it is!
